Playa Del Carmen

December 3, 2021

The coastal town of Playa del Carmen is popular for its beaches and nightlife. Stay here to enjoy the natural beauty of ancient ruins, lagoons, and mangroves, as well as the party life that the region has become known for; however, don’t forget to stop at these three spots.

The first spot of the day starts at Parque de Los Amantes or Lovers’ Park, where lovers hang out. The name of this place came about because there is a statue dedicated to two lovers who are intertwined in an embrace. If you’re lucky, like we were, you’ll see couples getting their photos taken here.

The second stop of the day is the beach for some snorkeling and swimming; however, make sure that you go early since Playa del Carmen gets crowded during the day with swimmers and jet-ski operators, which can be annoying to people like us who want peace and quiet when going into the water.

Our last spot is lunch at Punta Morena or Point, which has great views of the beach. This place is a great place to end the day with a view of the stunning coastline and try some delicious Mexican food.

Playa del Carmen, Mexico is a popular tourist destination. With the Riviera Maya as its backdrop and miles of pristine beaches to explore, it’s no wonder that this city has been garnering so much attention in recent years. For those who have never visited before or for those looking to return again soon, we’ve highlighted three spots worth checking out on your next visit!

They said “City of the Day”. They gave the name and info on that city. How is this “fake news”?

To me it’s just another worthless ad because they don’t tell what they are leading you to get the answer for- How many people live there. Not a good look for their advertisers Nashville, Mumbai or Brighton.
