Orange Beach

Are you looking for a quiet, friendly and less crowded beach experience? If so, then the southern hospitality you will find at Orange Beach in Alabama is the perfect destination.

Orange Beach is located on the Gulf Coast and has some truly spectacular white sand beaches that border the turquoise water. The color of the sand comes from thousands of years worth of quartz particles that washed down from the Appalachian Mountains and make up the majority of the beaches.

Stretch out on the warm sands and relax away from the tensions of everyday life. If you want a more exciting beach-going experience, opt for a tour of the Orange Beach Islands. The four islands of Bird, Robinson, Gilchrist and Walker are just minutes apart and can be experienced on an exciting day trip. Take a boat or jet ski. You can even travel to them by kayak or paddleboard to get in some exercise.

If you are a nature lover, then you will appreciate all that Orange Beach has to offer. Along with some excellent nature trails to walk and hike on, the surrounding areas are home to some amazing species of wildlife. Take a cruise to spot some dolphins or keep your eyes peeled for sea turtles and manatees.

When you need a break from the sun, you can head into town for a satisfying meal of freshly caught seafood. Afterward, visit Fort Morgan or the Orange Beach Indian and Sea Museum to experience some of the area’s best historical and cultural sights.

There is plenty to do that will appeal to all ages. You can choose to spend the day lounging on the beach or having fun at Adventure Island amusement park. Take some time out for a family vacation to reconnect and recharge.

Once any place is featured in an article, it gets crowded. Nature of the beast: we see an attractive location we tell others. When a location is written up, it loses the seclusion and coziness!

Its a lovely place, I like to go to Floribama because you only need a towel and money. You can eat there, get drinks there and you don’t have to carry a cooler.
