Layton, Utah, is located in Davis County, just north of Salt Lake City. The city was founded in 1850 and has since grown to over 81,000 residents. While Layton may be small, it is home to plenty of attractions and activities that make it a great place to live and visit. From the Antelope Island State Park to the Layton Hills Mall, there is something for everyone in this vibrant community.

The Antelope Island State Park is a great place to visit for those who want to enjoy nature. The park features more than 42 square miles of land, including various trails that lead to beautiful views of the Wasatch Mountains and the Great Salt Lake. In addition, the park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including bison, deer, and antelope.

The Layton Hills Mall is one of northern Utah’s most popular shopping destinations. The mall features more than 100 stores, including popular brands like Macy’s, JCPenney, and Sears. Additionally, the mall has a variety of restaurants and a movie theater for those who want to enjoy an afternoon or evening out. The city is home to an impressive number of events and festivals for residents and visitors alike. Some annual favorites include Taste of Layton, Artwalk, and Pioneers Day Celebration.
