La Plagne

December 31, 2021

La Plagne is a collection of small ski resorts and medieval villages on the outskirts of the Vanoise National Park. It’s a family-friendly resort with several beginner and intermediate slopes to choose from. The Vanoise Express cable car connects La Plagne with Les Arcs.

The purpose-built resorts are located at elevations ranging from 1800 to 2100 meters. They all have a decent selection of apartments, hotels, chalets, restaurants, and nightlife. The historic villages of Montchavin, Les Coches and Montalbert are closer to the ski region of La Plagne and have their own pistes.

The free shuttle buses and extensive network of ski lifts make getting around a breeze. Some of these connections are open late to enable guests to get to nearby restaurants, stores, and pubs. A vast network of linked resorts and towns makes it a year-round playground for outdoor enthusiasts.

The 10 villages include:

  • Plagne Centre
  • Belle Plagne
  • Bellecote
  • Plagne 1800
  • Aime La Plagne
  • Plagne Village
  • Plagne Soleil
  • Montchavin/Les Coches
  • Champagny
  • Montalbert

Would like to suggest my home Town to be included in your list. Bloomsburg, Pa is the only incorporated Town in Pennsylvania. Founded in 1802, Bloomsburg is a beautiful place to live. If you need to contact me , my cell number is 570-441-3610. Thank you and have a great day!

I agree. To not mention the country is just poor reporting. I assume it’s France, but if I really want to know, I’d have to google it (yes I know. It’s not that difficult to do). Going to unsubscribe if I keep getting these articles are poorly written.
