Budapest is the capital and largest city of Hungary, located in central Europe. It’s located in the Pannonian Basin in central Europe, along the Danube River. 

Budapest has a rich history dating back to Roman times, and it has been an important cultural and political center for centuries.

  • Budapest is known for its thermal baths, which are a popular tourist attraction.
  • The city is also home to the world’s second-oldest metro system, which was built in 1896.

  • Fisherman’s Bastion: The Fisherman’s Bastion offers panoramic views of the city. It was built in the late 19th century and is named after the guild of fishermen that defended it in the Middle Ages. 
  • St. Stephen’s Basilica: This Roman Catholic basilica is located in the Pest district of Budapest. It is the largest church in Hungary.
