No mention of the university? That is the heartbeat of the city. I am not an alumnus of BGSU. In fact I played sports against BG. However, I have loved the city and university since the 1980s when they were a rival. When driving from my home in Florida to family in Michigan, Bowling Green is a regular stop–just because.
The city you describe above is Bowling Green, Kentucky not the Bowling Green in Ohio!
No wonder they did not mention BGSU! Wrong state, gaaahhh!
I attended that great school at it’s Firelands Branch in Sandusky, Ohio.
